I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Development at the University of Arizona and earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of San Diego.
Additionally, I am employed at Acacia Counseling and Wellness, which is the leading provider of outpatient, university mental health support. Acacia specializes in serving university students, faculty, and staff, as well as the greater community and treats issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, drug and alcohol use, relationship issues, and other serious mental health issues. They provide holistic, multicultural, student-oriented mental health services that are highly accessible, affordable, and specialized for individuals needs.
Lastly, I received my Yoga Certification several years ago and I continue to practice meditation and mindfulness-based approaches in my personal and professional life.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, hiking, seeing live music, and attending yoga and psychology workshops and retreats.
